The Carters are a four-person Black Israelite household accustomed to serving others through practical work, emergency care, technical skill, and close family discipline. They join the worldwide gathering after the first warnings fracture ordinary life.
Role in the series
Their path intersects the Rivers family during the gathering. Together, the two households widen the story beyond a single viewpoint and help organize power, medical care, communications, and support for displaced children.
